Happy Birthday Johnny!

A every happy birthday to one of my dearest friends Johnny! So for his birthday Ashley and I make Johnny a lovely "Tuxedo Cake" (recipes from www.annies-eats.com.) It was one of the best cakes we made, well so far this year. It was a rich two layer chocolate cake, with homemade whip-cream frosting and a nice chocolate ganache. And we gave him his favorite T.V. Show on bluray/Dvd.










We gave him a lovely trip to Frightmares at Lagoon on Friday night with a nice 5 hours with great rides, hunted walk troughs and more. (sorry we forgot to take pictures this night)







 Then on Sunday we (Ashley, Dara, Johnny, Lindsey, and myself) all had a nice little walk down Temple Square in Salt Lake City. It was one of the best weekends for a birthday. So happy birthday Johnny!

Happy Birthday Michelle!

Happy Birthday to my good friend Michelle...Well it's to bad our friend can never remember birthdays, well besides me...so I made my triple chocolate treat cake for Michelle for her birthday, it was great. Two layers of chocolate fudge cake with chocolate chips, a nice whipped chocolate frosting and white chocolate chips on tops...sadly i have miss placed my tips for decorating...so I had to do with what a hate....to say never the less it was a great cake, we did have a blast with slip and slids, and the the lovely movie "We bought a Zoo". What a great day for Michelle, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

Happy 4th of July Every one...what are you doing today? Well for me it was an early day...up at 6 to set up for Layton Days with the best sister around...I love the holidays they're the best. Once we set up our both it was off to work. While at work i was able to paint my nails with the new nail polish...Magnetic polish it's way cool. And as always I have a new out fit for the 4th...I think it kind of reminds me of Wonder Women...I'm not sure why. Then it's once 4 ish comes around it's off to Layton day's, where we'll be having a blast with Mel and Linda. Happy Fourth Every one...make it a proud day to be an AMERICAN!

Back from Zion's

Hey All,

I'm back from my Ward's Super Activity. It was a really great week... A small Group of us started by going to St. George on Tuesday, we visited the St. George LDS Temple. Then we were off to Zions National Park. There we stayed at a lovely campground. There were some nice hikes, swimming, and lost of fun..It was a great we had a blast...then we had a small drive of 5 hours home...and as always we went to our movies when we got home...if you haven't seen "Brave" yet, it's a good of for all ages...the pictures will be up soon.

Calligraphy for the First Time

So it's been sometime but with work going from 40 hours a week to 65 ish a week there wasn't much time. Now that I'm back this will be fun, so I was sending out letter to my lovely friends on there mission, and there were some birthdays this week so I wanted to try calligarphy and here is my first try...her goes nothing! So Happy Birthday to The Dashing Mr. Hargrove! you are one amazing friend and thanks for all you do!

Happy Valentine's Day

So today is February 14th and you know what that means...for some it's one of the happiest days they have and for other it's one of the saddest...but I'm not sure why that is. Well I'm one of these happy is a Holiday kind of people. I love Valentine's day. Sure it would be great to have that someone special in your life, but what is up with the all I hate Valentine's day....really it's a fun day to be out and about with you loved ones....that right loved ONES. Who cares if you are single or a couple...for me it means a new outfit. Witch brings me to my point this year instead of buying a new outfit I made mine. That's right I can kind of sew...well this was my first a temped and I'm not going to lie it's not perfect but it's works, the only way to see the flaws is if you look really close to it and if you are that close to it you better have a ring for me....jk...I find it a great outfit for the day and it was made by me...will the skirt was the top part I already had. So for me it's a great today!

FHE TONIGHT...YES!

So I'm Way excited for tonight. In Family Home Evening for the Heritage Park Ward group C we are going to have a great time. I'm giving the lesson on the "Plan of Salvation." At first is was kind of scared, but then I started to plan and I just could not fine any thing.

Me being the person I am I can go into FHE again with out a lesson this time, so playing on pinterest I found a blog that helped my so much. thank you to http://www.theredheadedhostess.com You have saved me from failing at teaching a lesson for FHE.

Well It's off to plan some more...not to say I still need to put together a basket for the date basket thingy next week.

The Party Came and Went

So Taryn's Birthday party was a hit...We had a lot of fun. The Get Air was great, it just seem to have a lot of little kids, but well worth it. Then Games at Megan's was fun. We played all sorts of games: Funny Bones, Apples to Apples (not so fun when your with a lot of people) and Spoons. The food was great, we had Cupcakes, Sugar Cookies, Veggies, Chips, Pizza, Drinks, Candy and much more. I just Want to Thank Megan for letting us use her home, and Brooke for helping plan it. It was great, I had fun and hope every on else did as Well...

5 Days & Counting

So I have five days left until Taryn's Birthday Party...Yeahhh...Well hopefully, so tonight if the oven is working I'm going to bake the sugar cookies that are going to be in the shape of 21's hopefully they turn out, if not I have 3 nights to change them, it's going to be fun. So the choose has been made...drum roll please...We are going to go to get air and then go to Megan's house for food and games. Megan and Miles are such great sports for letting us use their home. Well the will be getting a every nice thank you gift.

Friends really are the BEST

Well I would just have to say I love my friends. For me they really are the best. Isn't it funny how they just know when you need to talk...well most of the time my do and I love them for it...Well Brooke, Megan, and I are still planing Taryn's birthday Party and have no idea what to do. She is turning 21 and well we're not going to lie about it living in Utah on you 21st birthday is not the worlds most fun place, but there are fun things to do....I think we're going to throw a party for her and have food, games, and fun. I just hope she likes it. But we will not be having any drinking games. Because as much fun a drinking games are, they will Should not be at the party. But oh well, well there is so much to do but where to start....

Taryn's 21st birthday party planing

So my good friend Taryn's is turning 21 one this year and because we can't go to Vegas we will have to do some fun things in Utah. What Utah a a 21st birthday I know sound kind of weird to me too. But I know there will be so many fun things to do. Well now let us begin the planing. What will be the most important part, well lets think the CAKE, okay in the cause we are going to have cupcakes, because when all is said and done who would want to take home a mostly eating cake...the answer...no one, but when you bring home a cupcake then someone will eat it over the piece of cake any day. And they will have to be food, because I hate going to a party thinking there will be food and there only being cookies and candy. So there will be food, annies-eats.com and pinterest here i come for some ideas.

Get Air

So on Monday my ward went to get air at the Sportsplex in Kaysville. For those of you who do not know what GET AIR is well it's the size of a indoor soccer field, and it is tramps all over the place. It way a blast, I wish i would have had my camera with me but for got it at home. So we had the place for about 2 hours and in that 2 hours we played tag, and did front hand springs the whole time, well we did eat for like 10 minutes. It was one of the best work out I have ever had. I'm in so much pain but it is good pain. It's like Mr. H always said pain is weakness leaving the body. And oh boy it's it ever. But I haven't made any that new yet. So the over is broken and I just have not had the time to get it fix.

Let 2012 begin!

Well it's been sometime now. But 2012 has started off well for me. Yes I did get a new year's kiss and I gave one as well...okay there was more kissing then that. So back to the start of the year:

• New hair
• New make up
• New clothes
• New ME!!!!
• Cook More

And yes over all to have a Awesome new year. There are so many things to say.

I did make a new list for 2012, and it is going to be great.

One of my main goals this year is to have more not LAURIE MOMENTS and what is this you might ask well it's times where i do things that I most likely would not do. Like go up to someone and kiss them, so yes I have started this year well for the list and I do have a long List. But I will get to them all.

So I made some home made Chicken Noddle soup and it was amazing. Really I'm not the one that said it, one of my Besties Amanda and her mother said so. I'll take their world on it sometimes when I make new things people don't all ways tell me how they like it. But if you ever want to try something of my just give me a call want we'll work something out.

At the top of my list is to got to The LDS Temple more often. Yes I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS or more know as Mormon) I happy with it, I was baptized when I was 18, I have great friends that help me all the time. At first my family didn't like the choose I made but over time the have accepted it, and one of my biggest support is my sister Linda. She doesn't know she helps me but she does. Well that's all for right now.
