Calligraphy for the First Time

So it's been sometime but with work going from 40 hours a week to 65 ish a week there wasn't much time. Now that I'm back this will be fun, so I was sending out letter to my lovely friends on there mission, and there were some birthdays this week so I wanted to try calligarphy and here is my first try...her goes nothing! So Happy Birthday to The Dashing Mr. Hargrove! you are one amazing friend and thanks for all you do!

Happy Valentine's Day

So today is February 14th and you know what that means...for some it's one of the happiest days they have and for other it's one of the saddest...but I'm not sure why that is. Well I'm one of these happy is a Holiday kind of people. I love Valentine's day. Sure it would be great to have that someone special in your life, but what is up with the all I hate Valentine's day....really it's a fun day to be out and about with you loved ones....that right loved ONES. Who cares if you are single or a couple...for me it means a new outfit. Witch brings me to my point this year instead of buying a new outfit I made mine. That's right I can kind of sew...well this was my first a temped and I'm not going to lie it's not perfect but it's works, the only way to see the flaws is if you look really close to it and if you are that close to it you better have a ring for me....jk...I find it a great outfit for the day and it was made by me...will the skirt was the top part I already had. So for me it's a great today!

FHE TONIGHT...YES!

So I'm Way excited for tonight. In Family Home Evening for the Heritage Park Ward group C we are going to have a great time. I'm giving the lesson on the "Plan of Salvation." At first is was kind of scared, but then I started to plan and I just could not fine any thing.

Me being the person I am I can go into FHE again with out a lesson this time, so playing on pinterest I found a blog that helped my so much. thank you to http://www.theredheadedhostess.com You have saved me from failing at teaching a lesson for FHE.

Well It's off to plan some more...not to say I still need to put together a basket for the date basket thingy next week.

The Party Came and Went

So Taryn's Birthday party was a hit...We had a lot of fun. The Get Air was great, it just seem to have a lot of little kids, but well worth it. Then Games at Megan's was fun. We played all sorts of games: Funny Bones, Apples to Apples (not so fun when your with a lot of people) and Spoons. The food was great, we had Cupcakes, Sugar Cookies, Veggies, Chips, Pizza, Drinks, Candy and much more. I just Want to Thank Megan for letting us use her home, and Brooke for helping plan it. It was great, I had fun and hope every on else did as Well...

5 Days & Counting

So I have five days left until Taryn's Birthday Party...Yeahhh...Well hopefully, so tonight if the oven is working I'm going to bake the sugar cookies that are going to be in the shape of 21's hopefully they turn out, if not I have 3 nights to change them, it's going to be fun. So the choose has been made...drum roll please...We are going to go to get air and then go to Megan's house for food and games. Megan and Miles are such great sports for letting us use their home. Well the will be getting a every nice thank you gift.

Friends really are the BEST

Well I would just have to say I love my friends. For me they really are the best. Isn't it funny how they just know when you need to talk...well most of the time my do and I love them for it...Well Brooke, Megan, and I are still planing Taryn's birthday Party and have no idea what to do. She is turning 21 and well we're not going to lie about it living in Utah on you 21st birthday is not the worlds most fun place, but there are fun things to do....I think we're going to throw a party for her and have food, games, and fun. I just hope she likes it. But we will not be having any drinking games. Because as much fun a drinking games are, they will Should not be at the party. But oh well, well there is so much to do but where to start....

Taryn's 21st birthday party planing

So my good friend Taryn's is turning 21 one this year and because we can't go to Vegas we will have to do some fun things in Utah. What Utah a a 21st birthday I know sound kind of weird to me too. But I know there will be so many fun things to do. Well now let us begin the planing. What will be the most important part, well lets think the CAKE, okay in the cause we are going to have cupcakes, because when all is said and done who would want to take home a mostly eating cake...the answer...no one, but when you bring home a cupcake then someone will eat it over the piece of cake any day. And they will have to be food, because I hate going to a party thinking there will be food and there only being cookies and candy.
